The Eazytamp 5 Star Pro Tamper (Double-Spring Leveller) is an exciting new development in intelligent espresso-making tool technology. This new coffee tamper resolves two key issues in one user-friendly tamper :
📌 The need to exert consistent pressure (15kg, 10kg or 7kg) when tamping.
📌 The need for a fail-safe levelling system to eliminate uneven tamping.

✔ Two high-grade stainless steel star leveller plate and flange/base.
✔ A leveller plate – this sits on the top of a filter basket and acts as a ‘leveller’ ensuring that a barista tamps straight down and not on an angle.
✔ A 7.5mm thickness compression flange/base – this compresses/makes contact with the ground coffee in the filter basket.
✔ 2 Springs :
Spring 1 – This is a calibrated spring that sits inside of the Eazytamp assembly. It is used to compress the compression flange/base using either 15kg, 10kg (Red spring) or 7kg (Blue spring) of pressure. This spring ensures consistent pressure is used when the barista tamps ground coffee. These springs are provided with the tamper and are interchangeable.
Larger Spring 2 - This is a spring that ensures that the star-shaped levelling plate returns to its original levelling position after tamping. This spring has no bearing on the pressure exerted on ground coffee.
✔ A handle made from industrial grade acetal plastic.
✔ 58.4mm flange/base size that will fit a 58mm filter basket.
✔ Addressed both factors with one tamper - level tamping and force-controlled tamping (in a way, variable downward force by user).
✔ Latest cylindrical stem-like shape handle with Flat Top = a more comfortable place to grip with the arc of the thumb at the bottom.
