The impact tamper is with a skeleton design for that cool aesthetic look. The base is of ripple design – a so-called 'pre-brewing' effect during the coffee extraction process.  There are 4 springs internally, each with its specific function. A circular leveller sits on the top of a filter basket, ensuring always straight down tamp and not on an angle.
There will be a click sound with feedback indicating the pressure reaches the preset value and the tamping process has been completed. The rebound of the base is automatic and self-resetting.
